The actual wave is as described, but the color is not Ice Blue, rather white. Im bit disappointed but decided to keep and suppliment with blue waves I bought somewhere else. Just dont want others to have to deal with it considering details are wrong.Using sign for backyard patio, when occasional guest comes over.Nice bright colors and right size. Not too big or small. It seems like it's quality.This is a nice, super bright "neon" wave sign. The backing is made of acrylic and it's pretty light weight.It's not real neon, but is made from LED lights in a silicone shell for diffusing the light.It comes with a nice chain for mounting, but I prefer a small piece of fishing line connected to clear command hooks. That makes the entire mounting essentially invisible.The power switch also has dimming functions. If you turn it off and back on, it retains the previous dimming level, but NOT if you unplug it. It defaults to "off" when you plug it back in, and "high" when you hit the power button. This makes it less than ideal for my uses. I like to have the lights plugged into a switchable outlet so you can remotely turn it off or on. That will not work with this design.When you power it on, you can change the dimming level by repeatedly hitting the up or down buttons. Holding the button does not work, you have to repeatedly press the button.On low, it's quite subdued, and only pulls 100mA (see the picture)On high, it's very bright and pulls just over 1 Amp (1000mA). It's so bright on high, I wonder if the longevity will be impacted, it's a lot more current pull than any other "neon" light I have.I like to use these with cheap dollar store power plugs, and this is right on the edge of power for it, but works ok.If you don't mind the power switch, then I would recommend it.If you’re wanting the blue glow, go for the ‘Blue’ color, not the Ice Blue. If you’re looking for a white color with a tiny tiny hint of blue, go for the Ice-Blue.I love this product but for a college student it’s a bit expensive but it’s actually a great product and the color itself is super bright and I love that it have controls for the brightness
